直性子 describes a person's character — someone who is forthright, direct, and says what they think without beating around the bush. It's a noun referring to the personality type itself, not an adjective (that would be 直接 or 直率). You can say 他是个直性子 ('he's a straightforward person') to describe someone who doesn't hide their feelings.
