Definition
痴迷 (chī mí) means to be obsessed or infatuated with something, often to the point of losing rationality — the character 痴 implies 'foolish attachment'. It is stronger and more emotionally intense than 迷 (mí, 'crazy about'), and unlike 沉迷 (chén mí, which often carries a regretful tone of addiction), 痴迷 can be either a deep passion or a blind obsession.
