Definition
现行犯 is a legal term meaning a criminal who is caught in the act, just before, or immediately after committing a crime. In Chinese criminal procedure, an 现行犯 can be arrested without a warrant. This term is more specific than 嫌疑人 (suspect) or 罪犯 (general criminal).
