Definition
犯病 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to have a relapse of an old illness' or 'to fall back into a bad habit'. The verb 犯 and the noun 病 can be separated by measure words, durations, or objects — for example, 犯过一次病 ('had a relapse once'). You can also insert 了 or 过 between them.
