Definition
牛气 is a colloquial stative verb (used like an adjective) with two unrelated senses. One describes a person who is arrogant, haughty, or overbearing — often used with 很 (很牛气). The other is an economics term for a bullish market, especially in stock trading. Context (person vs. market) determines which sense applies.
