Definition
爽快 (shuǎngkuai) covers two senses: a physical feeling of being refreshed and a personality trait of being frank and direct. Compared to 痛快 (tòngkuai), which emphasizes doing something to one's full satisfaction, 爽快 focuses more on a clean, no-nonsense decisiveness. 坦率 (tǎnshuài) is more formal and limited to speech/attitude, while 爽快 is used in everyday conversation for both feelings and character.
