Definition
滑稽 (huájī) describes something comical or funny in a formal or literary way, often with exaggerated or slapstick humor. It is less colloquial than 好笑 and 逗, and more specific to stage comedy or physical comedy. Unlike 搞笑 (which is more about being hilarious or entertaining), 滑稽 often carries a classic, almost theatrical feel.
