Definition
溶入 means to dissolve into a liquid, but it is also commonly used metaphorically to mean 'to merge into' or 'to become part of' a group, culture, or environment (e.g., 溶入社会 'integrate into society'). It differs from 溶解 (physical dissolution) in that 溶入 emphasizes the process of becoming one with something else.
