溜号 is a colloquial separable verb (离合词) meaning to sneak away or leave without permission, especially from school, work, or a military unit. The verb 溜 and the noun 号 can split—you can say 溜了三次号 ('slipped away three times'). It can also describe being absent-minded in some contexts (思想溜号), but the core meaning is physical departure without notice.
