Definition
清澈 describes water, the sky, or eyes as clear, pure, and transparent — often with a poetic or positive tone. It differs from 晴朗 (qíng lǎng), which only applies to weather (clear and sunny), and from 澄清 (chéng qīng), which is more formal and can also mean 'to clarify' a situation.
