Definition
混 (hùn) is a colloquial verb with two key senses: 'to mix' (general mixing, less specific than 夹杂 'to be interspersed with') and 'to drift along, get by' (aimless passing of time, while 对付 means 'to make do' with limited resources). As an adverb it means 'recklessly, indiscriminately', but 乱 (luàn) is more common for 'randomly'.
