混进 is a verb-complement compound: 混 (mix, blend in) + 进 (enter). It means to enter a place or group by pretending to be part of it, often quietly or secretly. You can use it with 得/不 to form potential complements, e.g. 混得进 (can infiltrate) or 混不进去 (cannot infiltrate).
