Definition
淡漠 is a stative verb (can also function like an adjective) with two main senses: (1) emotionally indifferent, aloof, or showing little interest — describing a person's attitude or feelings toward something; (2) faint, dim, or vague — describing memories, impressions, or traces that have faded over time. The context tells you which sense is intended.
