Definition
淋漓 is a literary binome (v.p.) that literally means 'dripping wet' — you see it in 大汗淋漓 ('drenched in sweat'). Figuratively, it describes writing, speech, or performance that is thorough, vivid, and uninhibited, most commonly in the fixed phrase 淋漓尽致 ('thoroughly, vividly') and 痛快淋漓 ('exhilaratingly thorough'). It always describes a state or manner, not an action.
