Definition
浴衣 is a type of lightweight garment worn after bathing — often a cotton robe or a Japanese-style yukata. It is also used historically or regionally to mean 'swimsuit', but the robe sense is far more common in modern Chinese. Be careful not to confuse it with 浴袍 (thick terry bathrobe) or 泳衣 (swimsuit).
