流星锤 is a traditional Chinese weapon consisting of two iron balls connected by a long chain. It was used in ancient martial arts and is now mostly seen in wuxia films, novels, and martial arts performances. The name literally means 'meteor hammer' because the swinging motion resembles a meteor.
