Definition
汪洋 describes an expanse of water that is vast and seemingly endless, often used in literary or descriptive contexts. Unlike 广阔 (guǎngkuò) or 宽广 (kuānguǎng), which apply to any wide physical space (land, sky, etc.), 汪洋 is reserved for oceans, seas, or large bodies of water. It is an adjective, not a noun like 海 or 海洋.
