Definition
水陆 literally means 'water and land' and is used in two main contexts: (1) as a noun pair referring to transportation or routes by both water and land (水陆交通), and (2) as a collective term for luxury food ingredients from both land and sea (水陆之珍). It does NOT mean 'amphibian' — that is 两栖动物. Be careful not to confuse it with the biological term.
