Definition
水洗 describes something that has been washed or treated with water in a specific way. In photography, it refers to the final rinse step that removes chemicals from film or prints. In fashion, it's used for denim or fabric that has been stone-washed or water-washed to achieve a softer, faded look. As an attributive modifier, it appears before nouns: 水洗牛仔裤 ('stone-washed jeans'), 水洗照片 ('washed photograph').
