Definition
有法 is a classical Chinese structure meaning 'there is a way to (do something)' or 'it is possible to (do something)'. It is the positive counterpart of 无法 (wúfǎ, 'there is no way to'), and is found in more formal or literary registers. You usually see it followed by a verb phrase: 有法解决 ('there is a way to solve it'). Be careful not to confuse it with 有法可依 ('there are laws to follow'), which uses 法 in the 'law' sense.
