Definition
更有甚者 is a fixed expression used in formal or written Chinese to introduce a point that is even more extreme, serious, or noteworthy than what was just mentioned. It often carries a negative or critical tone — like saying 'what's worse' or 'to make matters worse' — but can also be neutral ('furthermore'). It typically starts a new sentence or clause and is followed by a comma.
