Definition
曝光 (bào guāng) means 'to expose' — literally film to light, and figuratively a scandal or secret to the public. Unlike 揭露 (jiē lù) or 揭发 (jiē fā), which focus on revealing truth or wrongdoing, 曝光 emphasizes making something widely known, often through media. It also differs from 暴露 (bào lù), which can be unintentional or physical.
