明媚 (míng mèi) describes gentle, natural brightness — used for sunshine, spring scenery, or a warm smile. It contrasts with 亮丽 (liàng lì), which describes striking, vivid colors or appearance. 璀璨 (cuǐ càn) is even stronger, for dazzling light or jewels.
