Definition
昊 (hào) is a bound form (cannot stand alone as a word). It appears in literary and formal compounds meaning 'vast sky' or 'the heavens', such as 昊天 (hào tiān, immense sky) and 昊昊 (hào hào, vast and boundless). You will encounter it in classical poetry and formal writing, but never as an independent noun in everyday speech.
