Definition
无权 is a verb-object phrase (v.o.) meaning 'to have no right' or 'to not be authorized.' It is formed by the verb 无 (to be without) and the noun 权 (right, power). Unlike typical separable verbs (离合词), 无权 is usually used as a fixed unit and is not split in everyday speech. It can be followed directly by a verb to indicate what one is not allowed to do.
