Definition
The chengyu 无关痛痒 literally means 'does not touch pain or itch'. It describes something so unimportant that it does not cause any real impact, or a person's attitude of being completely indifferent to a matter. The metaphor comes from physical sensations — if it doesn't hurt or itch, it's not worth attention.
