Definition
无以复加 is a four-character idiom (chengyu) meaning 'to the extreme' or 'in the utmost degree'. It is often used to describe negative situations (e.g., rudeness, waste, arrogance) but can also be used for positive extremes. The literal meaning is 'cannot be added to further', implying the highest possible degree. Use it after a noun or verb phrase to indicate that something has reached a peak that cannot be surpassed.
