斗志 (dòu zhì) means 'fighting spirit' — the will to fight in a competition, battle, or challenge. It is more specific than 志气 (zhì qì), which refers to broader ambition and moral backbone, and different from 意志 (yì zhì), which is general willpower. 斗志 is often used in military, sports, or struggle contexts.
