Definition
整体 (zhěngtǐ) refers to 'the whole' as a single entity — the entire object, group, or situation considered together. It differs from 全部 (quánbù), which means 'all parts/everything' individually, and from 全局/大局 (quánjú/dàjú), which specifically mean 'overall situation/perspective' in strategic contexts. 宏观 (hóngguān) adds a 'macro' viewpoint, whereas 整体 is more general.
