攫 is a bound form (b.f.) meaning 'to seize' or 'to grasp'. It appears mostly in literary or formal compound words like 攫取 (to seize), 攫住 (to grab hold of), and 攫夺 (to take by force). It is not used alone in modern spoken Chinese.
