Definition
搡 is a dialectal or colloquial verb with two main clusters of meaning. The first is a physical, rough shove (pushing someone firmly). The second is a figurative sense: to force something unwanted onto someone (like an opinion, responsibility, or object) or to fob something off on them. In both cases the action has a sense of force or imposition.
