排版 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to typeset' or 'to lay out text and images for print or digital publication'. It combines the verb 排 ('to arrange') and the noun 版 ('edition/plate'). When you need to insert a measure word, duration, or object, the two syllables split: 排一次版 ('do one typesetting job'), 排了三天版 ('spent three days typesetting'). You can also use it as a noun (排版工作 'typesetting work').
