排卵 is a technical term meaning 'to ovulate' (the release of an egg from the ovary). It is a separable verb (离合词): the verb 排 and the object 卵 can be separated by aspect markers like 了 or 过, or by measure words like 次. For example, 排了一次卵 ('ovulated once'). You cannot put a direct object after 排卵; the verb is intransitive in this sense.
