Definition
拼 (pīn) means both 'to piece together' and 'to go all out'. For piecing, it's broader than 拼接 (splicing) and 联合 (uniting groups). For going all out, it's a colloquial verb for giving maximum effort — less formal than 全力以赴 and different from 冒 (mào), which means to brave danger.
