Definition
投放 means 'to put into' (coins, bombs) or 'to launch/release' (products, ads into the market). Unlike 投入 (tóu rù), which focuses on investing time, effort, or money into something, 投放 emphasizes physically placing or sending something into a specific location or market. It is broader than 输入 (shū rù 'to input data') and more deliberate than 抛 (pāo 'to throw').
