Definition
扭扭捏捏 is a reduplicated four-character expression describing a person's hesitant, coy, or overly shy demeanor – often used critically when someone pretends to be modest or reluctant when they should act naturally. The pattern AABB intensifies the quality. It usually modifies a person's manner of speaking or behaving in social situations.
