打烊 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to close up shop for the night.' The object 烊 can be separated from 打 to insert aspect markers or duration: 打了烊 ('closed shop'), 打过烊 ('has closed shop'). It's common in both Northern and Southern dialects — you'll see it on shop signs or hear employees say 我们打烊了 ('We're closed').
