打工仔 is a colloquial term for a male migrant worker or blue-collar employee, especially someone from a rural area working in a city. It carries a casual, sometimes slightly dismissive tone, and is most common in Cantonese-influenced contexts (Hong Kong, Guangdong). The female equivalent is 打工妹. Use it informally; avoid in formal writing.
