Definition
成倍 is an adverb meaning 'by multiples' or 'exponentially', used before verbs of increase (增长, 提高, 扩大) to indicate that the result is several times greater. It does NOT mean 'over and over' — the existing gloss 'time and again' is a mistranslation. Use 成倍 when something grows or multiplies in a multiplicative way, not when something happens repeatedly.
