Definition
愚弄 means to deceive someone in a way that makes them appear stupid or foolish, often involving mockery or contempt. It is stronger and more demeaning than plain 欺骗 (qīpiàn, 'to deceive'). You can use it with a direct object, e.g., ∼某人 (to make a fool of someone).
