Definition
想尽 means 'to think of every possible means' and is most commonly used in the pattern 想尽办法 (to think of every possible way). The verb combines 想 (think) with 尽 (exhaust) to express exhausting all ideas or approaches. It can be followed by 了, 过, or complement structures, but the compound is not fully separable.
