Definition
惊厥 is a medical/physiological verb describing an involuntary physical reaction — either fainting from extreme fear or shock, or having convulsions (often in children with high fever). The first sense is closer to 'faint from fright', while the second is a clinical term for seizure-like muscle contractions. In both cases the subject is the person experiencing the reaction.
