A four-character idiom (成语) expressing extreme hatred that has penetrated to the core of one's being. Literally 'hatred that enters the bone', it is used in dramatic, literary, or strong emotional contexts to convey a feeling of intense resentment or deep-seated grudge. The structure 恨之入骨 uses 之 as a grammatical particle referring to the target of hatred, and 入骨 as a vivid metaphor for depth. This is a fixed expression and cannot be split or modified.
