恋家 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to be homesick' or 'to be attached to one's home'. The two syllables can split when adding aspect markers (了, 过), duration, or degree: 恋了很久的家 ('was attached to home for a long time'), 恋过家 ('have been homesick'). It refers to a deep emotional connection to one's family and hometown, not just temporary missing of home.
