Definition
快手 has two distinct senses. The first is a colloquial term for someone who works quickly and efficiently — a 'quick worker' or 'deft hand'. The second is a historical term for a bailiff in a traditional Chinese yamen (government office). In modern usage, the first sense is far more common, and the word is also the name of the popular short-video app Kuaishou. Be careful not to confuse it with 快车 (fast car) or 快刀 (fast knife).
