Definition
征婚 means 'to seek a spouse through advertisements' — online profiles, newspaper listings, or matchmaking events. It is a separable verb (离合词): 征 acts as the verb and 婚 as the noun object, so you can insert 过, 了, or measure words between them (e.g. 征过婚 'placed an ad before', 征了两次婚 'placed ads twice').
