弄僵 is a resultative verb compound meaning 'to bring something to a deadlock or stalemate'. The verb 弄 ('to do / to handle') combines with the result complement 僵 ('stiff / frozen') to describe a situation where negotiations, relationships, or proceedings become stuck.
