Definition
幢 (zhuàng) is a measure word exclusively for buildings — it counts houses, hotels, libraries, etc. It's more specific and everyday than 座 (zuò), which can also classify buildings but is broader (used for mountains, bridges, statues) and often carries a sense of grandeur or formality. Use 幢 when you just mean 'building' without that overtone.
