属相 (shǔxiàng) is the everyday, colloquial word for a person's own Chinese zodiac animal, used in questions like '你属什么?'. Its formal counterpart 生肖 (shēngxiào) is more often used for the system as a whole (十二生肖) and in written or formal contexts.
