居心 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to harbor intentions', almost always with a negative connotation. It most commonly appears in the set phrase 居心不良 ('to harbor ill intentions'). The object (心) can be separated from the verb (居) by a question word or modifier, as in 居什么心 ('to harbor what intentions?').
